Do they serve beer and booze??
Great pizza, very friendly service, clean environment.
Had pizza there last night, was amazing! Great service too 😀
Good and open till 11 pm. Free WiFi.
Every time we’ve eaten here we have a great experience. The pizza, wings, breadsticks and other menu items are all delicious.
MoreWe were at Glacier National Park for few days. This place is the worst place to get food, they messed up our order to start with, then brought up cups of toppings for us to put on pizza...😂And finally when we ate the pizza, we felt great joy in tasting their run-of-the-mill cardboard pizza (dominos is good at that)...yuckPlease do not go here expecting good food
MoreCaught them at a busy time, but staff was great. Wings were excellent, white sauced pizza was really good.
MoreIf you told me they were just serving frozen pizza, I would believe you. High quality frozen pizza, but frozen nevertheless. Beer is expensive relative to the surrounding area. Service is friendly but slow. The wings on the table next to me looked and smelled delicious though.
MoreMy order was mistaken somehow, not quite sure. I was told by my server that it was an error in the kitchen, then by the owner that the server misunderstood me. Either way, the wrong pizza was delivered to my table and no one realized it. But what’s more is that the owner took the whole pizza from my table, along with the serving plate where I had taken a (delicious) bite, without offering a single gesture of service recovery without my asking. An “oops” discount apparently, 10% off my pizza - a measly gesture, a weak apology no attempt to recover my experience so far and furthermore the owner told me before removing the wrong pizza from my table that her staff would be enjoying it; that their mistake would not go to waste. At least there’s that.
MorePizza dough was made from scratch and ingredients were fresh. Wings are delicious and I think the only thing that was close to frozen was the ice cold beer. We will be back!
MoreGreat service, but the crust was reminiscent of cardboard. Cheese sticks were awesome.
MoreA good restaurant just outside the east entrance of Glacier National Park. We had pizzas that were really tasty. The staff was pleasant if not a bit frazzled. We'd definitely go back.
MoreOh my word, I can not say enough good things about their pizza! After hiking all day in Glacier there is literally nothing better. Do your tastebuds a favor and check this place out...honestly their veggie pizza with pepperoni was better than a lot of sex I've had. Why have the D when you can have the P?? Rising Sun Pizza, I will be back for you June 2020
MoreThe pizza was decent, and the staff was friendly. As with most small tourist towns, the food was a little pricey, and the (presumed) seasonable staff was well-meaning but got quite a bit of our order wrong. Still, not bad.
MoreDelicious pizza, not the quickest service, but total worth the wait, the veggie pizza (Gargen Wall) was my favorite. Most of the drinks come in a bottle/can the lemon-aid wasn't worth it but the beer selection got good reviews.
MoreGarlic wings good. pizza ok, crust difficult. Staff good
Very cool place! They had a very eclectic choice for pizzas. All very good! A nice break from camp food!
MoreAwesome pizza. No clue what CON productions is talking about.
The best in East Glacier
Great food! Everyone was super nice. A++++
Fantastic pizza after a long day at the park. Freindly staff great thin crust made from scratch pizza.
MoreGreat pizza, great service.
Worst service I have EVER received. We were there for over 2 hours and were still waiting for our pizza. Pop comes in bottles so no refills. No one came to check on us or let us know what was going on. Other tables drinking beer had to go ask for refills and ask to have their orders taken which was greeted by rude waitstaff. When we went up to let them know we were leaving they acted like we were being ridiculous. (We were ridiculous to wait 2 hours) they wanted us to pay for the pop we had which clearly should have been comped. While we waited for their incompetent staff to get our bill completed our pizza was magically ready. I told them I didn't care and they boxed it up for us and added it to our bill with a 10% discount. 10%!!! Seriously!! The pizza was overcooked and not very good. Only reason they are open is because they are 1 of 3 places to eat. Don't waste your time there like we did.
MoreWe came here after getting married in GNP. Since my husband manages a pizza place, we are super picky about pizza and don't often want to eat it, but they were one of few places here and the only one open late. Good thing! The pizza was SO GOOD... not just good for being the only choice, but rivals some of the best pizza I've ever had. (P.s. we saw them making the dough so can 100% say it isn't frozen) We had the white pizza with some veggies. The white sauce was delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and as the restaurant began filling close to closing time, they didn't rush anyone out or turn anyone away. They had a good beer selection, too. This was one of our favorite meals while in Montana, both for the food and the service. Thanks Rising Sun Pizza for making our wedding "reception" so awesome.
MoreAfter a long hike in the park coming here to get pizza was a great idea. Staff was friendly and pizza was so good!!!
MoreGreat menu- especially for jalapeno enthusiasts
Had the wings and pizza once after a hike and it hit the spot. The server was nice and we overall enjoyed the food.On a separate occasion, I called before they opened (not knowing the hours) and whoever answered the phone was super rude. Didn’t even answer the phone like a business... “hello.” “We don’t open until 4:30.” I apologized and I got an “okay.”
MoreRising Sun Pizza never fails to impress. They have the best wings I have had anywhere, with some of the best sauces to choose from. Their pizzas range from traditional choices, to the more unique. The Garden Wall is my personal favorite. Great topping choices and excellent thin crust make this a must have while in the Glacier area. The service and employees are friendly and on point.
MoreAwesome food but a bit pricey. Also wished they had vegan pizza options i.e. vegan cheese and crust.
MoreThe spicy curds are fire. Good beer too.
Great pizza place. Local hospitality and local beer. Makes you feel like you’re at home no matter how far away from home you are. From our trip to Glacier, it’s one of the places I miss the most.
MoreThis is your basic run of the mill cardboard pizza. I'm pretty sure they use store bought shredded cheese for their pizza. The only reason this place has 4 stars is because it's one of like 3 restaurants in St.Mary. So the reason you're seeing good reviews is because all the people who ate here were likely desperate to find food and very hungry like we were when we came here. However, I will not let that distort my taste buds and Google review! I don't recommend eating here unless you are desperate basically. Probably the only pizza restaurant within 60 miles.
MoreI ordered 2 pizzas to go. One pepperoni and other pepperoni and jalapeño. (They put about 3 jalapeños on the pizza)They were both burnt and hard as a brick. My family couldn’t even eat it. We were visiting glacier national park and I was too exhausted to even go back to fix it. When I visit this state again I can promise I will never eat here again. The wait time was a little over an hour.
MoreCheese bread was really good! Service was excellent! The pizza was okay but I recommend this place if you've eaten camp food for too long! Right outside the park!
MoreFood comes out a little slow, but when it does it's good.
Nothing to write home about. Imagine making your own pizza at home with no special ingredients.
MoreThe food was absolutely delicious, but took quite a while to get to us. It was quite lively and busy at the time though. They had gluten free pizza too which is a plus for us!
MoreIncredible wings AND pizza. Beer was great too ;)
Delicious food, great management
Great selection of premixed pizzas, build your own options, wings, cheap drinks, $4 draft beers, friendly happy hard working staff. Account for location in remote northwestern Montana if comparing to favorite local pizza joint. Crust improvement my two cents. Left here satisfied, belly full, ready for tomorrow's adventures.
MorePizza and hot wings were very good. Friendly service! Would definitely eat here again.
MoreWe been wanting to try it out and we weren't directed wrong it was amazing service was awesome food was delicious. We didn't have a long wait I believe we made it just before there closing n we were still able to get our belly's full.looks like no more going east for pizza will be making more trips to ST.Mary's more often..thank you for such awesome pizza and great service!!!!!
MoreGreat crust. The margarita pizza could have used more fresh basil.
What a nice surprise! We were tired after hiking and decided to stop by for some wings and pizza. The wings were delicious. Fresh out of the fryer with warm yummy sauce. The 16" pizza was way too big for us but the yummy sauce, fresh toppings and crispy crust...We ate it all!
MoreDelicious
Amazing Pizza! The staff is very efficient and friendly. Very enjoyable environment to be in.
MoreLoved the pizza and beer. Great choice if your hungry for carbs after hiking.
3.5 rounded up. The veggie platter seemed a bit questionable. (Carrots were white), garlic cheesy bread was good, but overly oily. Pizza was decent, but nothing special (I didn't like the sauce). Service was very good, though, and decor is nice.
Moredelicious food and even better service!
Pretty good pizza. Friendly attentive service, but the pizza took forever. Lots of take out orders competing with restaurant folks. Still worth a visit if you are not in a hurry.
MoreGood pizza. Beautiful surrounding scenery.
